- The students are not Australian or New Zealand nationals, nor do they hold a resident class visa in New Zealand.
- They must be finishing up, or have completed, their studies on or after January 1 of the year preceding the application year.
- The student must apply for admission before the of August of the academic year before the student’s planned first year of enrolment at the university.
