Many grantees go with their families and say that everyone benefits from the experience. The Fulbright Global Scholar Award does not include any additional financial benefits for dependents.

Financial Benefits

The benefits of grants differ depending on the nation and type of award. In general, Fulbright funds are budgeted to cover the grantees and their accompanying dependents’ in-country travel and living expenses.

Faculty Highlight

Since I first arrived at Geneseo, I’ve considered myself really lucky to have support for both my teaching and my research at a university with a focus on education. We put a lot of emphasis on teaching, and we care deeply about what we do with our students in the classroom, but when I saw that Geneseo also sponsored research, it was the ideal setting for me. As a faculty member, I am able to achieve my goals.
